30 Day Challenge - Top 3 Pet Peeves

 

 

 

Welcome to Day 3 of My writing Challenge.

 

Today we Focus on My Top 3 Pet Peeves, Yay today I get to be Grumpy 😡 😂

 

 

So what is a Pet Peeve, Well its something that gets your goat up or by Definition:

something that a particular person finds especially annoying.

1. "one of my biggest pet peeves is poor customer service"

    

    

   So Lets start with Number one on My List.

    

    

    

   Pet Peeve one:

    

    

   Facebook, Well Not so much Facebook but the spread of fake Stuff in general on Facebook. It seems that all common sense leaves the House when People repost on Facebook.

    

   It seems to be becoming more widely spread and that Naivety is becoming more frequent. 

    

   I constantly see stories or Memes spread on Facebook that have little or No Factual base involved. Someone sees a Horrible story and then Just repost it. 

    

   I always do a Backround check on a story I see That may anger me, Then I find that its either a Propaganda story or Just something that someone has expanded on in shall we say a NON Factual way.

    

   Now the Reason I didn’t say fake News as my Pet peeve is Because its just Fake stuff in General. Remember I said Common Sense leaves the House.

   Well I often see people reposting Posts that Say “ we have free ( insert product here eg Holiday,TV etc) to giveaway’.

    

   Now in Normal everyday life these people would not take any Notice of someone saying they had Something to give away for free without checking for a catch or clause. Yet on Facebook they don’t seem to give it a second thought.

    

   Here’s a Tip if the poster offering such great Freebies Has a Blue tick By their Name then They MAY be genuine However if they don’t then they are pretty much NOT genuine.

    

   Always do a Background check, A company has to have information on their page if they are Genuine, IF they have very little information or NON at all then Don’t repost.

   Once you Repost then you are giving them access to all YOUR information and possibly MINE as well.

    

   SO DON”T do it.

    

   Last case scenario if your still unsure Phone the company who is Titled on the Page they will be able to tell you.

    

   Grrrr Really gets my Goat 🐐 😂 

    

    

   Ok Pet Peeve Number 2:

    

   Rudeness, Yep Plain old Rudeness.

    

   I was brought up to Respect others as I would like to be respected and Treated.

   It seems these days ( and this doesn’t apply to all) But Bad manners is becoming far too common.

   What ever happened to looking out for others.

    

   Walking on a Path or Pavement and people don’t seem to want to make way they just are Happy to keep walking as if you don’t exist and don’t get me started on those with Kids where they seem to lose the ability to tell them to keep to the side. Nope they just let them keep walking or running into you. Grrr 😡 

    

   When I used to walk to school with My Nan, She would always tell us to move to the side or watch out for people but it seems To avoid any Tantrums Parents just don’t do it these days. 

    

   Maybe I am Just unlucky and have run into the wrong parents 😂 but it gets my Goat 🐐 up grrr 😡 

    

   Maybe its a lack of discipline or well I don’t know really but rudeness seems to be more common place these days.

    

    

   FINALLY Pet Peeve Number 3:

    

    

   Politicians thinking Your Stupid.

    

   Ok Not sure this counts as a Pet peeve But its definitely a Grievance. 

    

   I try to stay away from politics talk as a rule because everybody has their own opinions and thats as it should be.

    

   I am very sure that Nearly all Politicians ( In the UK at least) become a politician in the hope of making a change to society for the better, Then somewhere along the way it all goes on a different path.

    

   I listen to 90% of politicians and think there must be a special school or academy they go to which teaches them how to Answer questions without actually giving any answers.

    

   Its almost as if they think that the people listening to them won’t understand and so it won’t matter.

    

   Politics is like a vicious circle where the politicians make mistakes and then apologise and on the odd occasion they may get something right which they'll sing about BUT when they make mistake Oh just watch the excuses poor out.

    

   I don’t want to say it, OK yes I do. Trump is a Prime example of someone who is there purely for his own Gain, He also Never seems to realise that everything he says is being recorded. When his mistakes are pointed out he then seems to have a whole list of excuses as Back up or just disses the people who point out his shortcomings.

    

   I cannot see how he still has supporters, After everything he’s done it seems there are still naive people who cannot see it. I’m afraid as someone with common sense I just cant see it.

    

   We have our own here in the UK. With things like Claiming for benefits ( Extra Houses etc) to those who ignored their own rules and regulations during lockdown, Yet these are the people we trust to run our country.

    

   Politicians are there to serve us as a country NOT to rule us. They should be there to guide us to live better not to dictate how to Live.

    

   They are there to spend our Taxes on making a Better country for us and future generations, NOT to top up their wages or to go on holidays or buy houses that the average person will NEVER afford in their Lifetime .

    

   A politician is there to be a Role Model that we can learn and Follow, NOT one that teaches our Kids that Lying,Cheating and corruption are the way forward.

    

   How can you on one Hand tell people Not to get into debt and Yet run the country into Debt, Sorry to me that just doesn’t make sense. 

    

   Sorry I could keep going but I won’t, That is my final Pet Peeve - Politicians.
