Poem of the Day - That much is true

That much is True

These times are hard these times are tough,

And sometimes you think you’ve had enough,

That much is true,

But you are stronger than you think,

So when your heart starts to sink,

That much is true,

We’ll get through it we’ll see the light,

If we have the will to fight,

That much is true

This virus affects us all,

and on the vunerable it takes its toll,

That much is true,

The future seems so far away,

We all wish for a better day,

That much is true,

With social distance we stay apart,

we miss the dearest to our heart,

That much is true,

We worry about what might be,

We see the losses on the T.V,

That much is true

We sit here helpless No defence,

of our Relatives or Parents,

That much is true

But no this the Day will come,

When Covid -19 will be done,

That much is true,

We’ll look back and say “remember the time”,

When we came together and started to shine,

That much is true,

For all the Bad thats been so far,

Keyworkers have been the star,

That much is true

They’ve risked their lives for us to see,

That bright future that will be,

That much is true

so we’ll get through it in the end

Not taking time for granted that we spend,

That much is true

My thoughts go out to all of you,

That much is true.
