Sex Education.. A Hidden Gem

Ok so not what you may have learned at school but A Netflix Tv 📺 series.

To some it might not be a Hidden gem 💎 you may be an avid watcher of this great show...But if you are a freshman,Then welcome to a must watch.

There are some Tv shows that grab you like - Friends,GOT,Prison Break, Breaking Bad, cold feet and More.

This is Definitely one of those.

I stumbled across this Laurie Nunn show after watching 6Underground ( Great film by the way)

This show appeared on my screen and I thought might as well click play while I do some design work. A little bit of background tv to listen to while I work.

Something happened and suddenly I was involved in the world of Sex Education and Morland school and it’s students.

I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t watched it yet but The Premise is that Otis gets involved with giving sex advice to fellow students while his mum is also a Sex Therapist played brilliantly by Gillian Anderson ( No Mulder in sight and a different sort of x-files 😂).

The story is a lot deeper than a simple comedy, the episodes follow different students and their lives.

The quality of writing is superb. You can always tell great writing by the rollercoaster of emotions it makes you feel. Sex Education is great at it.

Characters you dislike you start to have an empathy for, You can see some of yourself in the characters. The acting is also brilliant, there will be some great young stars to come out of this show.

I may have missed the start back in 2019 but I’m fully invested now and 2021 seems a long way away for a third season.

So if you haven’t seen it yet and you have Netflix then give Sex Education a try, you won’t be disappointed.
